“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James 5:16
Merciful Savior, we thank You for the kindness and love You have poured out on our Yemeni sister Farah and her teams. They are ambassadors of Your peace in the war-torn city of Sana’a, Yemen. We pray for your Son, Jesus, to come into this city through Farah and her teams as they encourage others to live humbly and transparently before You. Grant them revelation to share with young girls, mothers, grandmothers, and widows the power of forgiveness according to Your words in James 5:16: “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” We join together with their prayers for a women’s movement to spread from the capital to the entire nation. Multiply Your Kingdom by Your Great Name! In Jesus’ name, Amen. |

Sana’a’, the capital of Yemen, has for many centuries been the chief economic, political, and religious center of the country. According to legend, Yemen was founded by Shem, one of the three sons of Noah. Today, Yemen is home to the world’s worst humanitarian crisis after a brutal civil war started 6 years ago.
Since then, over four million people have fled their homes and there have been 233,000 casualties from the war. There are currently over twenty million people in Yemen that rely on some form of humanitarian aid for their survival.
The global Church must stand in this hour for Yemen, and believe that the country can live into its legend and receive a flood-like baptism of God’s mercy and grace, transforming the nation through the blood of Jesus.
