“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James 5:16
O God, You are great and mighty. There is no one who can stand against You. We honor and worship You today with our sister Sahar today as she leads her team in Islamabad, Pakistan. Open up the heavens today that thousands of young women would be free from oppression and find true and living hope in You. Use Sahar and her team today to guide new believers as they learn to live out the truths of James 5:16: “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” Come in dreams and visions to this capital of business, of government, and of terror. Reveal Yourself and grant Sahar the wisdom to know when and how to share Your will and favor to those seeking after You. In Jesus’ name, Amen. |

Islamabad is the capital city of Pakistan, located near the border of India. The nation is historically and culturally related to Iran, Afghanistan, and India.
Since gaining independence in 1947, Pakistan has struggled to attain political stability and sustained social development. The country is estimated to be the home of 4 million orphaned children and 3.5 million Afghan refugees. Jesus followers in Karachi are often severely persecuted.
Since conversations between the Pakistani government and prominent terrorist groups dissolved in 2021, there has been a sharp increase in attacks targeting Jesus followers. The time is now for the Bride of Christ to stand with the church in Pakistan and pray for the advancement of the gospel in every unreached tribe in Islamabad.
