“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” Romans 8:26
Lord, today we pray for Bassam and Mahmoud, Your chosen vessels in Khartoum, Sudan, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Grant them boldness to spread the Good News of Jesus. Should they grow weary in leading their movement teams, speak to them, Lord, from Romans 8:26: “In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” We join in this heavenly intercession, asking for a move of God to come from these cities that would impact all of Africa. Birth something new, we pray. In Jesus’ name, Amen. |

Khartoum, the capital city of Sudan, is a large communications hub in Northeastern Africa. Prior to the secession of the south in 2011, Sudan was the largest country in Africa.
After decades of civil war, the country signed an agreement to separate the predominantly Christian south from the Muslim north that had been motioning for an Islamic state since the ‘60s.
Sudan is a ripe harvest field, home to hundreds of unreached people groups. As a major trade center, Khartoum is the seedbed for the nation.
Dar es Salaam, meaning “Abode of Peace”, is Tanzania’s largest metropolitan area.
Although Tanzania has a prominent Christian presence, the area in and around Dar es Salaam has many unreached people groups.
As the historic church rises in prayer and stands in the gap for their muslim neighbors, Dar es Salaam will be a station for the true Shalom of God to reign.
Use these resources to help pray specifically each day.
