For the month of June, we will pray from the Lord’s Prayer together as we intercede for Jesus Followers laboring in 110 of the least-reached cities of the unreached world.

Day 19 — Deliver Us From Evil

Mighty Deliverer God, today we intercede for “Demas” in Conakry, Guinea, and the prayer minister he leads.

You have placed him in a position of leadership to establish Your Kingdom, and we ask that You would preserve him from the attacks of the evil one. Let him not be overcome or diverted from what You have assigned. Form in him a pattern of standing firm so that others can see and follow. Let his life produce disciples who remain steady under pressure, and let this extend into multiple house church networks You are establishing in his region.

According to Matthew 6:13, “But deliver us from the evil one.” God, rescue Demas from the evil one and from every force that opposes Your purposes. Preserve him in alignment with Your will. Guard him from deception, from fear, and from compromise. Establish in him endurance so that he continues in what You have assigned without turning aside. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

110 City Focus for June is Turkey and Saudi Arabia

Today: ISTANBUL, Turkey

I live in Istanbul, a city that has stood at the crossroads of history for more than 2,500 years. Once known as Constantinople, it has been the heart of both the Byzantine and Ottoman empires — a city that has shaped nations and bridged continents. Here, East meets West. The skyline is filled with minarets and domes, the streets hum with trade and culture, and the waters of the Bosphorus divide yet unite two worlds.

At the height of the Ottoman Empire, this city ruled lands stretching across the Middle East and North Africa. Today, Istanbul remains a global crossroads — a modern, cosmopolitan hub shaped by Western influence yet anchored in deep Islamic tradition. It is a place of beauty and contradiction, where progress and spiritual blindness coexist.

Though millions live here, the Turks remain one of the largest unreached people groups in the world. Most have never heard the name of Jesus spoken with love. Yet I believe God has chosen Istanbul for such a time as this. As the ancient gateway between continents, it stands as a strategic center for the Gospel — a city from which the Good News can once again flow out to the nations.

I walk its crowded streets and pray that the light of Christ will pierce through the spiritual haze. I believe revival can begin here — where the past and present meet, and where hearts will one day declare the name of Jesus as Lord.

Pray for the Church in Turkey to grow strong and unified, shining brightly amid cultural and religious complexity. (Matthew 5:14–16)
