“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:18-20
Eternal Creator, we come to you on behalf of Amira and the teams she is leading in the region of Amman, Jordan. Your word is clear, and Your promises are always fulfilled. In Matthew 18:19-20: “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” We thank You for inhabiting the praises of Your people, and we ask now for Amira to be filled with all wisdom and knowledge. We intercede on behalf of the Jordanian people that miracles, signs, and wonders would pierce the dark clouds of despair, corruption, and false religion. Come in dreams and visions to open the eyes of the blind to Your great mercy and forgiveness. Send out Amira and her teams today as the answer to the prayers of those crying out for You! In Jesus, name. Amen. |

Jordan is a rocky desert country in Southwest Asia. The nation is a young state that occupies an ancient land that bears the traces of many civilizations. Separated from ancient Palestine by the Jordan River, the region played a prominent role in biblical history. The ancient biblical kingdoms of Moab, Gilead, and Edom lie within their borders. It is among the most politically liberal countries in the Arab world, although it shares in the region’s troubles.
The overwhelming majority of the people are Arabs. Amman, the capital, is Jordan’s chief commercial, financial, and international trade center. The city is built on rolling hills at the eastern boundary of the .Ajlun Mountains. Amman, the “royal city” of the Ammonites, was probably the acropolis atop the plateau that King David’s general Joab took.
The Ammonite city was reduced under King David’s lordship and rebuilt over centuries into today’s contemporary city. Yet, despite being a harbor of peace in the Middle East, Jordan is a land living in spiritual darkness. Therefore, a new conquering is needed, one in which the Son of David will illuminate the nation of Jordan with the true light of God.
