“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:24
Gracious Lord, we pray for Sami and Rania and their teams today in the Central Asian cities of Almaty, Kazakhstan, and Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. I am grateful for these precious leaders and ask that You open up their eyes and ears today. As both Sami and Rania’s teams gather together in prayer to intercede and prayer-walk the city today, we stand with them according to Mark 11:24: “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Hear our prayer O Lord, and come in great mercy and power. Multiply movements through the gifts of salvation and grace – through Sami and his teams and Rania and her teams – to the next generation of youth across the entire Central Asian nations of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. In Jesus’ name, Amen. |

Kazakhstan is the largest country in Central Asia. Kazakhstan is a nation of great diversity, housing many ethnic minorities and abundant mineral resources.
The population of Kazakhstan is young, with half of the residents under 30. The name “Kazakh” means “to wander”, while the suffix “stan” means “place of”.
After being under USSR rule for more than 70 years, may the land of wanderers find a home not simply in their national freedom but in the arms of their heavenly Father. Almaty, a major industrial center and the former capital is the nation’s largest city in southeastern Kazakhstan.
Kyrgyzstan is a mountainous country in Central Asia. The Kyrgyz are a Muslim Turkic people, constituting three-fourths of the country’s population, while the countryside is home to many unreached ethnic minorities.
The church in Kyrgyzstan has faced increased persecution in recent years. After the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, Kyrgyzstan regained religious freedom and has since experienced a resurgence of Islamic thought throughout the land.
Bishkek, the largest metropolitan area in the nation, is also the capital city.
