“God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might bring Israel to repentance and forgive their sins.” Acts 5:31
Ruler of the Nations, today we ask for Your blessings and favor to be poured out on Maryam as she leads student movements in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, and across the Gulf. Be with her, according to Acts 5:31, as “Prince and Savior,” that You might bring all people to repentance and forgive their sins. On this night, we also pray for her divine protection as she partners with other movements to supply ministry tools and evangelistic equipment. Guide her and grant her wisdom before authorities, officials, and those whose hearts are not yet turned toward You. Minister to her personal needs tonight, heal her wounded heart, take off the bondage of heaviness and suffering, and replace it with the joy of Your salvation. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. |

Dubai is the capital city of the emirate of Dubai, one of the wealthiest of the seven emirates. Dubai has been compared to Hong Kong and is regarded as the Middle East’s premier trading post. Dubai is a city of skyscrapers, beaches, and big business.
Due to its large expatriate population, there is religious diversity and tolerance within the city. However, the government has been criticized for being authoritarian when the ruling Sheikhs are brought into question. Converts from Islam often receive pressure to renounce their faith from family and community members.
Due to this, many followers of Jesus don’t exercise their faith publically. This is the hour for the church in Dubai to stand boldly for their faith in Jesus and make disciples of the various peoples he has brought to their prospering land.
