“Father to the Fatherless, we rejoice with Ruth today, whose life is filled with caring for orphans of war rescued from a life of terror in and around Qom, Iran. We add our prayers to her that she would find her strength in You and that the house churches partnering with her would provide godly homes, quality care, and a Jesus-based education for these precious young souls that You love.
We join with the children today as they shout the words of Psalm 106:1: “”Praise the Lord! Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever.”” In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
Psalm 96:4, we declare together: “Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be feared above all gods.”

| Great and Mighty God! We rejoice today with Rubyia, who, while searching to provide a better life, was trafficked in Nepal. To the praise of Your Name, she was rescued, redeemed, and established as a leader in her community near Kathmandu, where today she is running a small business and leading house churches. Your word is true. From Psalm 96:4, we declare together: “Great is the Lord! He is most worthy of praise! He is to be feared above all gods.” Bless Rubyia, the disciples she mentors, and the house church she leads. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. |

Nepal is a country in South Asia that lies along the southern slopes of the Himalayan mountain ranges. Kathmandu is the nation’s capital. Nepal is a landlocked country located between India to the east, south, and west and the Tibet Autonomous Region of China to the north. Wedged between two geopolitical giants, Nepal seeks to keep a balance between the two countries in its foreign policy—and thus to remain independent.
As a result of its years of geographic and political isolation, Nepal is one of the world’s least developed nations. The large-scale migrations of Asian groups from Tibet and Indo-Aryan people from northern India, which accompanied the early settlement of Nepal, have produced a diverse linguistic, ethnic, and religious pattern.

These factors provide the church in Nepal with an opportunity to raise up a generation of Jesus followers in Kathmandu that are sent out into the many unreached tribes throughout the countryside.
