Prayer for Movement Team:

Great and Eternal Father, You sent Your Son to bring healing and grace to all. Hear us as we pray in agreement for our Sudanese brother Karim. A young man of just 37 years living near Khartoum has endured the physical pain of four bullets and also witnessed his wife, children, and more than 70 others shot as they attempted to flee the war.

In Matthew 4:24, people brought all “those who ill, and [You] healed them.” According to Your word, we bring You Karim and ask that You would sovereignly and supernaturally heal him and restore his mind, his body, and his soul to be a witness for You. Give him the heart of an evangelist to testify of Your great kindness and mercy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Khartoum, the capital city of Sudan, is a large communications hub in Northeastern Africa. Prior to the secession of the south in 2011, Sudan was the largest country in Africa.

After decades of civil war, the country signed an agreement to separate the predominantly Christian south from the Muslim north that had been motioning for an Islamic state since the ‘60s.

Sudan is a ripe harvest field, home to hundreds of unreached people groups. As a major trade center, Khartoum is the seedbed for the nation.
