Prayer for Movement Team:

Savior of the world, today we humbly approach Your throne on behalf of Asiya and her teams. Acts 4:12 declares that salvation belongs to You and that “there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” We ask that You would birth a movement of young adults through the ministry of Asiya as they proclaim Your salvation from evil and announce the only pathway to heaven. In open-air markets, in schools, and in neighborhoods throughout Muscat, Oman, we ask for Your protection over them today; send out Your warring angels ahead of them to destroy the works of darkness and open the eyes of those who are blinded to Your love and mercy. In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Muscat, the capital of Oman, is located on the Gulf of Oman coast. The country’s interior is a sandy, treeless, waterless desert, while the coast remains the center for culture and trade.

Oman was originally named “Muscat and Oman”, due to capital’s weight in steering the nation’s well-being. In recent years, the Omani government has intensified its monitoring of Jesus followers and their activities. Due to the Sultan’s edict, Omani Jesus followers have faced harsh persecution.

Nevertheless, as the country was renowned in ancient times for its metalworking and frankincense, Omani followers will continue in this legacy as they stand firm, sharpen one another as iron sharpens iron, and bring a fragrant offering to the King of Kings.
