“I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer.” Psalm 17:1
Most High God, You are the Eternal King over Djibouti. We lift up this city and especially remember Fatima and her team today. As they gather early in the morning to offer You praise, grant them revelation and wisdom. Show them the women and young girls who are lost and have been crying out to you like the writer in Psalm 17:6 “I call on you, my God, for you will answer me; turn your ear to me and hear my prayer.” Bring Your gifts of boldness, courage, and faith so that they will declare Your great name to those who are trapped in darkness. May the light of Jesus shine bright through them today. In our Savior’s name, Amen. |

Djibouti, the capital city of the Republic of Djibouti, is a small, strategically located, oil-rich country in the Horn of Africa. Under French rule, the nation was known as French Somaliland until the country gained independence from European settlers in 1977.
The nation of Djibouti features a rugged and extreme landscape, with arid desert plains in the south to lush green mountains in the north.
The four largest ethnic majorities in the nation are Somali, Afar, Omani, and Yemeni-all of which are unreached people groups in the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. Hosting more stability and easier access than its neighboring countries to the northeast and southeast, Djibouti is a critical juncture for the Church to win East African and Arab unreached people groups.
