As the access to basic necessities and governmental planning worsens, the people of Iran are further disillusioned with the Islamic utopia the government promised. |
| These are just a few of the many factors that are contributing to Iran hosting the fastest-growing church in the world. Kermanshah is the capital city of Kermanshah province in western Iran. |
| The inhabitants are mainly Kurds of many different tribes, most of whom settled in the city after World War II. Though Sunni Kurds make up 10% of Iran’s population, they cannot construct Sunni mosques within many urban areas and are often mistreated by authorities. |
