For Revival in the Middle East and Israel
During these 10 days we want to invite you to join us in praying for Revival in 3 directions ā
Each day we will provide a prayer point for 10 cities on this Isaiah 19 highway from Cairo back to Jerusalem! For further prayer points for each of these cities, we have provided a website, 110cities.com! Letās ask God for mighty revival to break out in these cities according to Godās promise in Isaiah 19!
āIn that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria, and Assyria will come into Egypt, and Egypt into Assyria, and the Egyptians will worship with the Assyrians. In that day Israel will be the third with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the earth, whom the Lord of hosts has blessed, saying, āBlessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my inheritance.ā (Isaiah 19:23-25).
In Isaiah 62, we see the Lordās passionate resolve for Jerusalemās destiny to be fully established.
āFor Zionās sake I will not hold My peace, and for Jerusalemās sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a lamp that burns. (Isaiah. 62:1)
Jesus will not stop until Jerusalemās righteousness shines bright like the sun and her ministry impact burns in the nations like a torch (lamp). These pictures comparing Jerusalem to the sun and a lamp are connected to Godās glory (Isa. 60:1-3). The Lord is committed to setting intercessors in place to cry out for Jerusalemās destiny (v. 6-7).
āI have set watchmen [intercessors] on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. (Isaiah. 62:6-7).
Paul expressed his desire for the salvation of his people Israel,
āBrothers, my heartās desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be savedā (Romans 10:1).
āI do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. 26 And in this way all Israel will be savedā (Romans 11:25-26).
During these 10 Days, letās pray together for Jewish unbelievers around the world to call on their Messiah the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved!
Each day we have provided simple, Bible based prayer points in these 3 directions. We will culminate our 10 days of prayer on Pentecost Sunday together with millions of believers around the world crying out for the salvation of Israel!
Will you consider praying with us for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit across the earth this year in 10 days of worship-saturated prayer culminating on Pentecost Sunday?
