Field Team Daily Prayer Request:
Heavenly Father, on this Mother’s Day, we thank You for Leila in Urmia, Iran, and for those she leads in kingdom business. Thank You for giving her vision to work with honesty, skill, and purpose under Your rule, and to care for those You have entrusted to her. According to Psalm 145:16, You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing. We thank You for provision that comes from You, and for the spiritual nourishment You extend through Leila’s life to other women.
Bless Leila and those serving with her as they labor and build. Give them integrity in every decision and wisdom as they handle finances. Protect them from greed and from fear, guarding them from compromise. Let their work strengthen families, support ministry, and serve others well. Use Leila’s leadership to show that practical work can honor Christ and bless a community. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Today: CAIRO Egypt
I live in Cairo, a city whose name means “The Victorious.” It rises from the banks of the Nile — ancient, vast, and alive. The streets are filled with the noise of traffic, prayer calls, and the rhythm of daily survival. Here, pharaohs once ruled, prophets walked, and history was written into stone. Cairo is a city of heritage and beauty, yet also of great struggle.
Egypt is home to one of the oldest Christian communities in the world — the Coptic Church — yet even among believers, division and fear linger. The Muslim majority often looks down on Christians, and many followers of Jesus face discrimination and limitation. Still, God’s people here are steadfast. Quietly, a movement of faith and renewal is growing — believers from every background gathering in homes and churches, praying for revival in this ancient land.
But Cairo also bears another wound: thousands of orphaned children wander its streets, hungry, alone, and forgotten. Each one is seen and loved by God, and I believe He is calling His Church — here in the “Victorious City” — to rise with compassion and courage. We are called not just to endure, but to adopt, to disciple, and to raise up a generation who will be more than conquerors through Christ. The victory Cairo was named for will one day belong to Him.
Use these resources to help pray specifically each day.
