Eternal God, we praise You today with Miriam, whose work in Shiraz, Iran, is growing and multiplying disciples among young women. Grant her supernatural wisdom with these spiritual sisters and impart to them Your grace and truth. As she mentors them to multiply their faith through sharing the Good News, may Your beauty shine through each one and let them sing the praises of Psalm 107:8: “Let them praise the Lord for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them.” In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Psalm 100:4, “…enter his gates with thanksgiving… and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.”

| Eternal Father, we lift up Kamal and his wife today in Kermanshah, Iran, celebrating the ministry you have given them to care for “spiritual” widows, women whose husbands have disowned them because of their faith in You. May their home reflect the words of Psalm 100:4 so that when the broken-hearted and downtrodden enter, they will “enter his gates with thanksgiving… and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.” Be with each “spiritual” widow, comforting her with Your mercy and covering her with Your grace. We bless Kamal and his family, in Jesus’ Name, Amen. |

As the access to basic necessities and governmental planning worsens, the people of Iran are further disillusioned with the Islamic utopia the government promised.
These are just a few of the many factors that are contributing to Iran hosting the fastest-growing church in the world. Kermanshah is the capital city of Kermanshah province in western Iran.
The inhabitants are mainly Kurds of many different tribes, most of whom settled in the city after World War II. Though Sunni Kurds make up 10% of Iran’s population, they cannot construct Sunni mosques within many urban areas and are often mistreated by authorities.
