Heavenly Father, we come to You, joining our prayers for âNahumâ and the prayer ministry that he leads in and around Prayagraj, India. Thank You, Lord, for establishing him there and for giving him gifts of leadership and service so that the church can grow even in this spiritually dark place.
Colossians 1:19â20 declares that You have reconciled all things to Yourself, and this includes everything in heaven and on earth. By this, we know that every evil power, every demonic principality, and every spiritual influence that raises its head against You has no power. We pray for âNahumâ to walk in this spiritual confidence, gently ministering to people of Your grace, sharing of Your mercy, and offering forgiveness. In Jesusâ Name, Amen.

I live in Prayagrajâonce called Allahabadâa city where two great rivers, the Ganges and Yamuna, flow together. Every day, thousands of pilgrims arrive to bathe in these waters, believing that their sins can be washed away. As I walk along the ghats, I see their facesâfull of faith, hope, and desperationâand I feel the weight of their searching, their longing for a peace that only Jesus can give.
This city is steeped in spirituality and history. With the rising sun, Hindu chants echo across the river, and Buddhist prayers rise from distant temples. Yet in all this devotion, I sense a deep emptinessâa hunger for the Living God. Amid incense and ritual, I hear the Spiritâs quiet invitation to intercedeâto pray that eyes would open, that hearts would encounter the true Living Water who satisfies forever.
Prayagraj is a place of contrasts: devotion and despair, wealth and want, beauty and brokenness. Children beg near the steps where holy men meditate, and the river that so many trust for cleansing keeps flowing, unable to truly purify the heart. But I believe a day is coming when the river of Godâs Spirit will flow through these streetsâwashing away shame, bringing new life, and transforming this city with His glory.
I am here to love, to serve, and to pray. I long to see Prayagraj transformedâthat the city known for its earthly confluence would one day be known for a heavenly one: where heaven meets earth, and every soul finds cleansing and life in Jesus, the true Savior who gave His life for all.
Use these resources to help pray specifically each day.
