Holy Lord, we come to You on behalf of “Andrew” today, who is multiplying leaders and house churches in and around Esfahan, Iran. We thank You that Your Word has great power and that Your grace changes lives. We ask that You would encourage “Andrew” today as he testifies of Your mercy to the leaders You have given him to mentor.
In 2 Samuel 7:12–13, You said, “I will raise up one of your descendants, your own offspring, and I will make his kingdom strong.” We ask that You would recognize “Andrew” as a part of this spiritual legacy and that You would establish Your Kingdom through him. Protect him, and empower those that he is investing in, so that Your Name will be made great in Esfahan, Iran. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

I live in Isfahan, a city often called “half the world” for its beauty — a place where turquoise domes, winding bazaars, and ancient bridges tell stories of centuries past. The grand mosques and palaces reflect the height of Persian art and Islamic glory, yet beneath their splendor, many hearts are weary and searching. The call to prayer echoes daily across the city, but few truly encounter the living God who hears.
Since the fallout of the 2015 nuclear deal, life in Iran has grown harder. Sanctions have crippled our economy, and families in Isfahan struggle to find basic goods and steady work. The government’s promises of an Islamic utopia ring hollow as frustration and hunger spread. But in this emptiness, something sacred is happening — people are beginning to question, to seek, and to listen for truth.
Here in Isfahan, once the heart of Persian empire and Islamic scholarship, the Holy Spirit is quietly moving. I’ve seen Jesus reveal Himself in dreams to those who never dared question their faith. I’ve prayed in whispered circles under the arches of old bridges and in small living rooms where believers gather in secret. Even as the authorities tighten control, our fellowship grows deeper and braver.
The beauty of Isfahan — its rivers, gardens, and artistry — reminds me that God is restoring something greater than we can see. Though our worship is hidden, His glory is not. I believe the day will come when songs to Jesus will rise openly from this city, and Isfahan’s call to prayer will be answered by hearts that know the voice of the Good Shepherd.
Use these resources to help pray specifically each day.
