Revealer of all Truth, thank You for the revelation that changes everything. As the message of Jesus was shared, Kareem suddenly understood that it was You who had given him strength to lead the others to safety. He cried out that Jesus was the One who saved them so they could hear about Him. After hours of questions and conversation, all 269 surrendered their lives to Jesus. Cover them with Your love today and encourage them to stay surrendered and trusting in You.
According to John 15:16, You made it very clear: “You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit,” and we join our prayers together asking that You would carry Kareem and the others into patterns of deep discipleship and lasting transformation. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

I live in Chengdu, the heart of Sichuan province. Our city rests on the fertile Chengdu Plain, blessed with ancient irrigation systems that have sustained life here for thousands of years. These waters have carved paths for growth, making Chengdu not only an agricultural treasure but also one of China’s most important hubs for communication and trade.
Walking the streets, I feel the weight of history—over 4,000 years of stories echo in the temples, markets, and alleys. Yet this land, vast and diverse, is often misunderstood as one people, one culture. In truth, China is a mosaic of nations and tribes, each bearing God’s image, each in desperate need of the hope found in Jesus.
I am part of a movement that has quietly spread across China—millions have come to know Jesus since 1949, one of the greatest awakenings in history. And yet, I live under pressure. Persecution is real. Brothers and sisters here, and in places like Xinjiang among the Uyghur Muslims, face arrest, harassment, and loss of livelihood. Still, the fire of the Spirit keeps burning.
Chengdu is not only a gateway to Tibet, but also to the nations. The government speaks of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative, reaching for global influence. But I see another vision: a crimson road, washed by the blood of the Lamb, stretching out from China to the ends of the earth. What if from here, disciples were sent to every tribe and tongue? What if this city became a fountain of living water, flooding nations with the love of Christ?
I pray that day comes soon. Until then, I lift my voice in worship among the noise, believing that one day Chengdu will not only be known for its irrigation canals or trade routes, but as a city where rivers of living water flowed and the Kingdom of Jesus multiplied.
Pray for the Persecuted Church:
Many brothers and sisters in Chengdu and across China live under pressure and fear of persecution. Pray for us to stand firm with boldness, love, and endurance in the power of the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 4:8
