Prayer Fuel

We’re continuing our focus on each of the five megacities of influence—Jerusalem, Mekkah, Tehran, Varanasi, and Beijing—with an emphasis on House of Prayer intercession for the rest of August.

Field Team Daily Prayer Request:

Great Redeemer, today we pray for “Ajay” and his family as he leads movement prayer from Varanasi and its neighboring cities. We thank You for Your protection that goes before Him and for Your angels that guard his family from all evil. We ask You, Lord, to hear our prayers and bring the power of Your redemption to the millions of people who find Varanasi to be a Hindu pilgrimage site. 

According to John 17:20, in faith, we add this to our prayers: “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe…” We ask for an outpouring of Your Spirit to be poured forth in signs and wonders so that Your Name is exalted and Your redeeming power is known in the very heart of Varanasi. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

With millions of children wandering India’s streets, pray for Jesus to redeem their lives—placing them into families of love and into His eternal family.

Ask that Jesus redeems the thoughts and philosophies of this city, replacing confusion with His truth and filling seekers with the wisdom of His Word.

Pray that Varanasi, known as India’s holiest Hindu city, would become a testimony of redemption—where the nations see the power of Christ to redeem a people for Himself.
