Faithful Giver of Life, we thank You for the evening when Saqib’s family shared food and rest with a stranger who carried Your Word. As the Scriptures were opened in their camp, peace filled their hearts, and their weariness lifted. You refreshed their souls through Your living Word and brought them the power of Salvation.
According to Psalm 19:7, “The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul,” and we ask that You would continue to refresh Saqib and his family with the truth and love of Your Word. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

I live in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi’s Zhuang Autonomous Region—a city whose name means “Peace in the South”. Walking through its streets, I see the pulse of a bustling hub for food processing, printing, and trade. But beneath the hum of industry and commerce, I sense the deeper hunger of hearts that have not yet met Jesus.
Nanning is alive with diversity. Over 35 ethnic minority groups live here, each carrying their own language, culture, and longing for hope. From the Zhuang to the Han and beyond, I hear the echoes of thousands of years of history—a city layered with stories of triumph, struggle, and faith unfulfilled. China may be vast and often misunderstood as one people, but here in Nanning, I see the tapestry of God’s design, waiting for His light to shine.
I am part of a quiet movement of Jesus followers in this city. Across China, millions have come to faith since 1949, yet we know the cost of following Him. Uyghur Muslims and Chinese believers alike face intense pressure and persecution. Still, we cling to hope. I pray that the One who walks on the waters will make Nanning a city where His Kingdom flows freely—where every street and market square reflects His glory.
As our leaders pursue global influence through One Belt, One Road, I lift my eyes higher, believing that God’s redemptive plan is greater. My prayer is that Nanning will not only prosper in trade but also be a city washed in the blood of the Lamb, a place from which rivers of living water flow to the nations.
