Field Team Daily Prayer Request:
Let’s pray today for Amira in Kabul, Afghanistan, as she leads a national prayer network serving an underground house church movement across the country.
We wrote a song just for today’s prayer. Listen and pray with us: onemiraclenight.com/songs#NightWatch
Father, according to Isaiah 62, You appoint watchmen who will not be silent day or night. Strengthen Amira and every intercessor in this network. Give them endurance for the long watch and faith that does not grow weary.
As they pray in hidden places and quiet hours, receive their prayers as a continual offering before You. When nights feel long or answers seem delayed, renew their hope and remind them that You hear every cry. Establish Kabul according to Your purposes. Where fear and instability shape the atmosphere, release Your peace and truth so Your name is honored.
Protect Amira as she coordinates and encourages others. Give her wisdom and clear communication across the network, and guard every connection. Unite intercessors across the nation in steady agreement, letting prayer rise from home to home until spiritual ground begins to shift.
Raise up believers who will not give You rest, trusting Your timing and power to establish what they cannot yet see. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Please share this message with two others and invite them to cover Amira and the watchmen of Kabul in prayer by signing up at onemiraclenight.com.
In Kabul, the heart of Afghanistan, life has shifted drastically since the Taliban’s return to power in August 2021. Fear and uncertainty shadow the city’s streets, and yet, beneath the surface, faith is quietly growing stronger. Over 600,000 Afghans have fled the country since early 2021, adding to the nearly 6 million refugees now scattered across the world. Families have been torn apart, and daily survival remains a challenge for those who stayed.
Still, the story of Jesus in Afghanistan is far from over. In the midst of persecution and oppression, the underground Church is alive—and growing. Despite the danger, believers in Kabul are standing firm, gathering in secret, and sharing their faith one whisper, one act of love at a time. Against all odds, the Afghan Church is now the second-fastest-growingin the world.
This moment in history is not only a time of great trial but also of great harvest. God is moving through dreams, visions, and the quiet courage of His people. The darkness is real—but so is the light of Christ breaking through.
Use these resources to help pray specifically each day.
