Prayer Fuel

Lordship of Jesus

Field Team Daily Prayer Request:

Let’s pray today for Miriam in Khartoum, Sudan, as she leads a house church movement, dedicating her city and region to the Lordship of Jesus.

We wrote a song just for today’s prayer. Listen and pray with us: onemiraclenight.com/songs#TheEarthIsTheLords

Father, we stand on the truth of Psalm 24:1, “The earth is Yours, and everything in it.” Khartoum and every surrounding community belong to You. Every household and life is under Your authority.

Strengthen Miriam with courage, wisdom, and clarity as she guides these house churches. Let her leadership reflect quiet confidence that Jesus is Lord over this city.

Establish each gathering as a place where Your rule is welcomed and honored. As believers worship, pray, and open Your Word, let Christ’s lordship take root in their hearts and daily lives.

Where fear, division, or resistance has shaped the atmosphere, release peace, unity, and truth. Let deception and hopelessness give way to the knowledge of Christ. Raise up believers who live openly under Your authority in their families and communities.

Spread this movement steadily from home to home. Establish healthy churches that multiply quietly across the city. The earth is Yours, and the people of this region are precious to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Invite two others to stand with Miriam by signing up at onemiraclenight.com.

110 City Focus for Today: TEHRAN, Iran

I live in Tehran — a vast city stretched between the crowded plains and the snow-covered Alborz Mountains. Nearly ten million people move through its streets each day: students rushing to universities, merchants bargaining in the Grand Bazaar, and families navigating endless traffic beneath towering apartment blocks. Tehran is the political and cultural heart of Iran — the place where decisions are made that shape the future of the nation.

But these days, the city carries a heavy tension. Protests over economic hardship, corruption, and political control have repeatedly surfaced in Tehran’s universities and marketplaces, drawing harsh crackdowns and arrests. Many people feel caught between fear and frustration, unsure what the future holds.

The war has brought the danger even closer. Recently, airstrikes hit several fuel depots and oil facilities around Tehran, including storage sites and parts of the refinery infrastructure south of the city, sending massive fireballs into the sky and covering neighborhoods with thick black smoke. Residents were warned to stay indoors as toxic fumes and even acidic rainfall from the burning oil spread across parts of the capital. Fuel shortages, rationing, and fear of further strikes have become part of daily life.

Yet life continues. Families still gather over tea in small apartments. Shopkeepers timidly open their stalls each morning. Young people talk quietly about hope and freedom. Beneath the politics and conflict, many hearts are searching for something deeper — for truth, peace, and a future that cannot be shaken.

For followers of Jesus in Tehran, faith is quiet and careful. Believers meet in homes, pray in whispers, and support one another in a city where open faith can bring serious consequences. Yet even here, amid tension and smoke-filled skies, the light of Christ continues to spread — one changed life at a time.

I believe Tehran’s story is not finished. The same city known for power and control may one day become a place of awakening — where hearts soften, truth rises, and the peace of Jesus reaches the very center of the nation.

Prayer for Today:

  • Pray for those affected by the refinery and oil depot strikes — families facing fear, pollution, and fuel shortages.
    (Isaiah 41:10)
