For the month of June, we will pray from the Lord’s Prayer together as we intercede for Jesus Followers laboring in 110 of the least-reached cities of the unreached world.
“Day 24 — Amen
Faithful God, today we intercede for “Sosthdsenes” in Nouakchott, Mauritania, and we ask that You would establish in him a life that rests on what You have spoken.
Let his work reflect confidence that what You declare will be brought into effect. Form in him a pattern of agreement so that others can see and follow. Let his life produce disciples who stand firm in what You have said, and let this extend to all the leaders he is mentoring and investing in. We ask that You would multiply his work for Your great name’s sake.
According to 2 Corinthians 1:20, “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.” Faithful God, what You have spoken is established. Let Sosthenes stand in agreement with You. Remove uncertainty and hesitation. Establish in him confidence that Your promises will be carried out. Let his life reflect agreement with what You have declared. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
110 City Focus for June is Turkey and Saudi Arabia
Today: RIYADH, Saudi Arabia
I live in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia — a city that has risen from the desert sands into a glittering metropolis in just a few generations. Once a small tribal village, it now stands as a symbol of progress, wealth, and ambition. Towering skyscrapers pierce the skyline, highways hum with life, and the rhythm of change beats faster each year. Yet beneath the surface of all this advancement, there is a quiet emptiness — a spiritual thirst no modernization can satisfy.
This land was once declared closed to every faith but Islam. For 1,400 years, the shadow of that decree has shaped who we are as a people. But even here, in the heart of the kingdom, Jesus is at work. Through digital media, through encounters abroad, and through the courage of believers who share quietly and carefully, Saudis are coming to faith. Many have met the Messiah in dreams and visions, their lives forever changed.
With the Crown Prince’s vision of a modern Saudi Arabia has come a small but significant shift — a new openness, a softening of old boundaries. I believe this is the moment for the Saudi Church to rise, to walk in love and truth, and to claim our land not by force, but by faith. Riyadh may have been built on desert rock, but God is planting seeds here — seeds that will one day bloom into worship for the King of Kings.
