30th Jan NANNING, China

NANNING
CHINA
Nanning, capital city of the Zhuang Autonomous Region in Guangxi province, is a major food processing and printing hub for China. Nanning, translated, “Peace in the South”, is also a culturally diverse city hosting more than 35 different ethnic minority groups. China, having more than 4,000 years of recorded history, and occupying nearly the entire East Asian landmass, is the largest of all Asian countries and the most populous nation on earth.
Often mistaken as ethnically homogenous, China is one of the most diverse and complex countries, hosting an array of indigenous peoples. Despite experiencing one of the greatest Jesus movements in history, with over 100 million Chinese coming to faith since the advent of communism in 1949, Chinese believers, as well as Uyghur Muslims, are facing intense persecution in this hour.
With Xi Jinping’s vision of “One Belt, One Road”, and reach for global dominance, an opportunity presents itself for the nation of red and its leaders to fully surrender to King Jesus and wash the earth in the blood of the Lamb.
Pray for the advancement of God’s Kingdom throughout the many languages of this city.
Pray for the training of the next generation as they are handed the mantle of church planting in the nation. Pray for them to have wisdom, courage, faith, and supernatural protection.
Pray for a mighty movement of prayer to be birthed in Nanning that multiplies throughout the country.
Pray for followers of Jesus to walk in the power of the Spirit.
For the security of Jesus followers around the globe, please do not post this prayer profile anywhere online, especially on social media.
